Your data, handled properly.

No dark patterns, no data selling, no 40-page policy written to be skipped. Here is exactly what we hold, why we hold it, and how to get it back or wiped.

Effective 1 July 2026

Who we are

Mesmerise Marketing is a UK marketing subscription business. We are the data controller for the personal data described on this page. If you want anything explained, corrected or deleted, email [email protected] and a person will answer.

What we collect

Enquiry and booking details: your name, email, phone number, company and whatever you type into a form or booking slot.

Account data: the email, name and business details tied to your client portal login, plus the answers you give in your onboarding brief.

Billing data: subscription status, invoices and payment references. Card details are handled by Stripe and never touch our servers.

Delivery data: the accounts and platforms you grant us access to so we can run your SEO & AI Visibility, Email & SMS, Content or Ads work.

Usage data: basic analytics about pages viewed, so we know which parts of the site are useful.

Why we use it

To answer enquiries, quote accurately and recommend the right package.

To deliver the subscription you bought, including monthly reporting and portal updates.

To take payment, issue invoices and manage pauses, notice and renewals.

To send service emails you would expect: order status, reports published, payment issues, plan changes.

To meet legal and accounting duties.

Who we share it with

Processors that make the service work: Stripe for payments, our email sending provider for transactional email, our cloud hosting and database provider, and the marketing platforms you ask us to work in (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Search Console).

Professional advisers and HMRC where the law requires it.

We do not sell your data. Ever.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that never become clients: up to 24 months.

Client account, brief and delivery records: for the life of the subscription plus 6 years, matching UK accounting retention.

Analytics: aggregated and short-lived.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, object to processing, or take it elsewhere in a portable format. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month.

If you are not happy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in to the client portal and to remember your session. We use limited analytics cookies to understand which pages help people decide. No advertising cookies are set without your consent.

Security

Access to client data is restricted to the specialists working on your account. Portal data is protected by row-level security so one client can never see another's orders, briefs or reports. Payments run through Stripe, which is PCI DSS compliant.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data we will update this page and, where the change matters, email account holders directly.

Want your data explained?

Ask us what we hold, why we hold it, or have it deleted. One email, one straight answer.

Three-month proving period, then monthly rolling. No 12-month lock-in. Need a quiet month? Pause twice a year instead of cancelling, and keep your price and progress.
